I was obsessed with this song in freshman/soph year of high school. I tried to sing it all the time cuz I thought it was so beautiful and happy but I didn’t really understand what it meant due to my nonexistent French language comprehension. I think I eventually looked up the translation later and it made the song that much sweeter. <3
